A native of Northern Virginia, Dr. Knapp has always been passionate about animals and advocating for their well-being, so becoming a veterinarian was a natural fit. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal and Poultry Sciences from Virginia Tech and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Midwestern University.
Dr. Knapp is a strong advocate of preventative medicine, nutrition, and preventing obesity in pets. She enjoys getting to know her clients and their pets as well as educating people on their animals' healthcare. She has a special interest in neurology and dermatology and is USDA-certified.
Dr. Knapp shares her home with a Greyhound named Kree and a cat named Tasha. In her free time, she enjoys late night walks with her dog and exploring Virginia Beach with her family.
